About The Lake Superior Cottage

This newly built, modern cottage overlooks the beautiful Heritage Golf Course and is a stone’s throw away from the Heritage trail. Step outside and golf, bike, hike or cross-country ski without having to drive anywhere. There is even a putting green for guests to use just steps from the patio and an outside storage closet for bikes and skis.

The Space

Our gorgeous cottage is all on one level and features 2 bedrooms each with its own private full bathroom. The open floor plan is great for families or friends to gather and enjoy our up north haven.
 

Guest Access

All guests have access to both bedrooms and bathrooms, living room, kitchen, patio and locked outside storage closet.

Guests who stay with us long term have access to the washer and dryer located on the property.

Guests get access to the putting green that is right off their back patio. Be sure to see the rules for putting green usage on the Stay & Play page!

Other Things To Note

If you do decide to take a drive, head to historic downtown Marquette just 2 miles away with delicious dining and unique shops or bike to a sandy Lake Superior beach just 3 miles from your “Lake Superior” cottage. If you are joining us for a winter getaway, Marquette Mountain Ski Hill is close a 3-mile drive.

Rules At The Lake Superior Cottage

  • 4 Guest maximum 
  • No pets are allowed
  • Quiet hours are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • No parties or events
  • No commercial photography
  • No smoking
  • No powersport equipment adjacent to the property
  • Parking spots are available for compact to full size vehicles. Please no trailers or campers allowed.
  • Please do not smoke on the driveway patio. The fresh air intake for the cottage is located right above this patio.

  • Check-in after 4:00 PM
  • Check-out before 10:00 AM
  • Self check-in with smart lock

Before leaving the cottage we expect our guests to:

  • Gather used towels
  • Throw away trash
  • Turn off any lights and electronics
  • Lock up 
  • Return keys
  • Load and start the dishwasher
