Things To Do During Your Stay
Marquette Golf Club
For the golfers, one of the best parts of our vacation rentals, is that they are located directly on the practice putting green of The Heritage Marquette Golf Club. We’re indefinitely the best place to stay if you’re golfing in Marquette. Of course, if you hit The Heritage, you’ll have to try Greywalls. Known for its ancient granite features, and particularly challenging course, you’ll find no shortage of golfing near your lodging.
Cycling and Mountain Biking
For our cycling and mountain biking friends, your trail access doesn’t get better than at Silo Cottages! Staying with us, you’ll get near immediate access to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail a mostly paved trail that offers a relaxed cycling experience for as far as your legs can take you. The trail can quickly take you to the Lake Superior shoreline, or if you’re looking to use it as a pipeline to any large mountain biking trail system in the area, you absolutely can.
For the mountain bikers, we highly suuggest south trails for downhill, Ramba for flow and long routes, and North Trails for some fun beginner-intermediate rides.
